Welcome to our Music diploma program at Rainbow bridge.
We offer an essential foundation course into music, designed to cultivate the next generation of musicians and music professionals.
Our program blends theoretical study with hands-on practice and performance, ensuring our students are well-equipped for our dynamic music industry in all fronts.
In the music industry, a professional musician needs to learn many skills to navigate through the ups and downs of the market.
A musician today needs to not only learn an instrument, but also understand the world of music production, composition, recording, music business and even music education. Our industry, requires us to have a minimum theoretical knowledge of both western and Indian classical music equipping the student to create songs in any style/genre.
Our course is a great foundation course for students interested to start a career in music. It helps you discover all the aspects of a music career, and then post the course, you can choose to specialise further in your areas of interest or begin your journey as a professional.
Learn from experienced and accomplished musicians and educators.
Access to modern studio units, practice rooms, and performance spaces.
A balanced mix of theory, practice, and technology.
Networking opportunities with music professionals and organizations.
The course not only focusses on academics but also equal importance in performance and real life recordings and productions.
The school is not just a space for classrooms and studios but also a performance venue for artists and bands from all over the country, with a constant schedule of performances and workshops.
The classroom is not bigger than 10 students. This way students with different set of skills are given special attention rather than being lost in a big group.
Constant production work for albums, film and video transpire at the bridge, and helps students be involved in real time studio jobs.
The diploma in contemporary music program is a 14 month program focussing on both your instrument and technology studies. Students come to us with different ambitions and skill levels. They are split according to their skill levels on instruments and extra attention are given to students lagging behind at various points during the course.
The first segment involves focussing on your primary and secondary instrument. So, if you are a guitarist, Guitar will be your primary instrument. If you are a singer, Vocals will be your primary instrument. In such cases, we usually recommend Piano/keyboard to be your secondary instrument as it is imperative to learn the keyboard, as it is a key instrument required in music production. In this segment, there will also be lectures on common subjects such as Composition, Ear training and Genre studies. This first segment will span the first 5 months of your course.
The second segment will emphasis on Music production, DJing, Music business and more. These months will focus on technology and navigating it to create industry standard music in various genres with your unique identity.
This segment will be for 6 months.
You are then given 3 months to prepare and complete your project work, which will be a constant back and forth with your examiner.
We don’t believe in grading our students, but we make sure your project work is being reworked until it achieves a good calibre. As mentioned earlier, we impart individual attention to our students and make sure each of them achieve their highest potential while they are with us and even after they leave us.
